Skating for youth with financial support

Do you need financial support to be able to let your children skate at NSV? You can apply for this support at Stichting Leergeld Nijmegen. To arrange this properly, you have to do a number of things yourself.

  1. Send an e-mail to the section coordinator (Youth, Short Track or Figure Skating) to discuss which training sessions your child can best participate in. State your child's name, age and skating experience.
  2. Register your child as a member of NSV with the registration form on the NSV website. Enter 'Stichting Leergeld' in the Comments field at the bottom. You will receive a welcome e-mail with the NSV relationship number.
  3. Then send an e-mail to the treasurer of NSV with the subject 'Stichting Leergeld'. In this e-mail, state your child's name and the relationship number from the welcome e-mail. Indicate which training your child wants to follow and whether rental skates are required.
  4. You will receive an email from the treasurer with a concept invoice for Stichting Leergeld. You do not have to pay this invoice yourself, but send it together with the application form from Stichting Leergeld to Stichting Leergeld. The procedure and the application form can be found on the website of Stichting Leergeld Nijmegen.
  5. Stichting Leergeld Nijmegen will send a message to you and to the treasurer of NSV. This message states the amount that Stichting Leergeld will pay to NSV for your child.
  6. Is that amount lower than the amount stated on the concept invoice? Then you will have to pay the rest yourself. You will receive a separate invoice from the treasurer for this. You will pay that invoice yourself.
  7. From this moment on, your child can participate in the training.

If you have any questions about the payment of membership and training via Stichting Leergeld Nijmegen, please consult Stichting Leergeld Nijmegen or the treasurer of NSV.
